For as much as that camera costs, you could get a used DSLR.
as far as her shadow. content aware fill *poof* its gone.
for all the new shooters, get an 8gb or bigger card, PS or other, and for the love of god start shooting in raw! shooting in jpeg is like putting 85 in an Enzo.
That's pretty much all LR is. The main difference is you don't have to be working with a RAW file. You can work with a PSD or a number of different formats. That's important if you do your cloning and other work in PS first then move to LR.
Thanks, Jon. I'm going to DL the trial and see how I feel about it. Maybe I can get that student discount if I decide to buy.
You're going to start up the JPEG vs. RAW battle. Lol.
The way I look at it - Shoot JPEG. Instead of doing all the editing later.... Shoot it right the first time.

(its not really a debate [but yes ill start it again lol] 90% of people will agree wether it is right or wrong from the camera RAW is a better option.)
does LR offer photo-merging for building panoramic? or actions? (with PS i go through and edit all my pics from a session and save them as a PSD so i can play with them later then press a button and PS will border and watermark all the images and save them as a jpeg in a new folder) ive never used LR it confuses me HA! just wondering what (IF) its lacking.
