I looked into that one but really seemed to only add a few mp's and video. I wasnt really into the video so couldnt warrant the $$ and lets face it....i was anxious!!! lol

 

I want/need to get a backup cam. one for Wideangle and the other one for tele.If i would upgrade my 50D i'd get the 1D MK3$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The screen on the t1i ____s on the xsi's. its got 920,000 dots/VGA same as the 5Dmk2 & 50D. xsi only has 230,000. Im just a big fan of the the newer screens there so much better, you gotta see the side by side its totally different.

 

LOL, well heres the great part. I got mine as a package at Costco. So if the T1i comes out and I love it and they have it I can take mine back and swap. :-)

 

andrew, the 5d mkII also has a full frame sensor.

Chris if ur lookign for wide angle u definitely need to get a full frame.

 

Oh yeah, I am aware of the full frame cameras. Just too $$$$ for me t6o warrant that right now. Paying for a wedding and all.

Eventually will go there but for now, starting with a less expensive body and investing the $$ in the lenses.

 

yeah that's cool. I started with a Canon Rebel FILM camera, then moved onto a Canon Elan 7e, then moved onto a Canon 10d for my first DSLR, and then to a 5d.

 

Im still gonna need a back up. I change out my lens more than usual.

What really pushed me to Canon was my luck with the canon p&s I had. Which now unfortunatley is in someones hands that found it in the NYC cab I left it in! I almost bought anopther one but figured nah ill go slr this time.

 

I would upgrade and keep my 50D as a back up but im on a $800 camera budget. Maybe next year ill save up enough for a 1D.
