if im going for longer range lens, i would stick with the L lens.. i had the 70-300 non usm non IS before and its total crap.. all i get is frustration in every shot.. it seems that all it does is magnify but quality is like 2-3/10

 

 

Jon how much PP do you do?

 

It really just depends on the photo. On the one above, I tweaked the levels/curves and added some vignette. It takes me 5-7 min on average to do the post-processing on a photo.

 

Go ahead and hate on me for posting an HDR, lulz. I had a few minutes to kill today, so I stopped by a local dealership and snapped some pics of an SRT-8 Challenger since no salesmen were out...

Roja, be nice to see a little fill flash if u have the possibility to do so. That hat kinda created dark shadow and really under his eyes.

Jon, in the images 1 and 3 I'd rather see more empty space on the turn they came out of. Kinda hard to tell they are coming out of a turn instead of going into one. almost looks like they are turning at the last second to stay on the course.

I'll have to look at them again 'cause they're actually coming out of a turn and immediately going back into one in the opposite direction, hence the angle of the wheels.

 

how many rwd tc are there already?

 

i'd have to shoot like 9 continous shots and post all of them up to show how they enter/exit, swing/ and then enter/exit next turn. Something we used to do with film shooting for freestyle bmx and skating. Guess that is a dead technique. ha ha
