The first set of photos are not necessarily black and white, they're just heavily desaturated while the color example has boosted saturation.

The desaturated images look nice with the that last one being my favorite. That one seems the most similar to what you'd normally see in a magazine spread.

the person you had take the photos has a very good understanding of post work. all the photos look very clean.

 

Anyone ever just sit and explore Flickr? I've been browsing all day. There's truly some amazing work on there.

ha ha AMEN brotha. Any awesome photographer will tell u that to take great photos the first rule is to always carry ur photos with u.

 

 

i am in the same color vs. black/white dillema. when your car is white and black it just seems to take away from the subject of the photo when everything else is in color. almost all of my photos of the box are black/white because when im processing in lightroom and hit grayscale they always look better than the color versions.

and yes pretty car/pretty lady. nice.
