Are you intending to desaturate it? It's a nice effect, but on exotics like those, I like seeing the colors pop.
In addition to the levels, play with the curves. A good place to start is to create 3 points and play with the positioning to create a gentle s-curve to tweak the contrast until it pleases you. Small changes in the positions of the dots can create large changes in the contrast, so be gentle

cool. thanks rcf. yes i was intending to desaturate them. ill try the curves idea with a few other shots i took of those cars.
