Yeah you either need to use a GND to keep all the information or bracket the image and combine the sky from one with the foreground of the other.

 

simply decrease your aperture and lower your shutter speed

about a year, most of the time was just being able to find parts i needed.

i know the pic sucks, but got the seats done, and they are comfy.

 

Haha, why haven't you yet? I bought a regular ND4 screw on for my 50/135. I think the filter holder and lee/cokin filters will be much better quality though..

 

also u can adjust where the gradation starts in the frame that way. that's prolly the biggest advantage.

I'm waiting on my skills to get better so I can justify any more gear.

thanks man! its not hard either, just black and white and then use the brush and zoom in to make sure you get in the lines and do it slowly, not bad at all.

Well, my planned route was to come down I-55 and stop overnight in Memphis wherever the best location seemed to be. I know the west side isn't the best to stay on, so I know I was going to come a little east. If Germantown is where the best stuff is I could probably go to I-65 to I-40 and stay there.
