Yeah my best advice would be to get to 40 and find a hotel to stay in. Germantown is cleanest and safest suburb of memphis.

 

k thanks for the tips. Germantown is probably the most out of the way part of Memphis, but if it's safe there, that is the #1 requirement for me. Since I'm moving everything I own in my tC, I don't want it getting jacked overnight...

 

Lakeland/arlington is also pretty safe as well, where i live but Collierville and Germantown are by far the safest.

d40? manual focus isnt to bad i was actually messing around with it on my 35mm. not bad. i might even get the 50 for the hell of it since its cheap

 

Thanks guys. Sure, cooled down mid tones, made oranges pop, brought out reds in curves, dropped greens and blues.. then just did a mixture of that until I got the look i wanted. For the light leaks, I quick masked then painted where I wanted them with a big soft slow flowing brush. Adjusted those curves by raising the RBG channel (till it looked white), raised reds, lowered greens, and lowered blues until I got the desired burn look. Hope that helps..kinda all over the place. Play with curves, you can make a flat look and wash out the colors pretty easily.
