DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
I have fallen in love with my 70-200 again haha. It has become my new walk around lens at shows (with the 50 1.8 right there). I didn't even touch my 11-16 this past weekend haha.

Does anyone have a nikon d700? I want to get an fx but was wondering if anyone has one and how they like it? And also anyone with a 14-24 lens. I've been drooling over it for a while and have been thinking of judging dropping the cash on it already.
I had some test shots couple threads down with the D700 https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=184939
I came from a D80
Great solid pro full frame compact body, Mag-Alloy like it's big brothers. Low noise, amazing, all the way to 6400. Live view is a nice handy feature.
It keeps it's value very well, I bought it for 2200, sold it on ebay for 2100.
I'm currently using a D3s as of right now, I only bought the D700 to hold me over until the D3s was back in stock (and I knew the resell for D700 would be easy)
If you don't care for video, and already have some nice nikon mount glass, the D700 will do everything you want and more. I'm confident that you will love it, especially if you are coming from a D60. And again if you decide to sell, it will sell quick & high.
I've never used the 14-24, but I'm sure it's an amazing lens, as there are great reviews about it all the time.
Very good review. I wanted to get the D3 but reviews I've read made me realize I don't really need it. I did want a faster continuous shutter speed just in case but from what I read the battery grip actually gives it more power to shoot 8fps. I really love my d60 cause it's so simple and a great learning tool but I think it's time to upgrade. But I'm not selling it cause it'll be fun to still shoot with it.
