i bought a cheap fish eye, it was cool at first but then ehh it got annoying and distorted the pic on the edges. dave id recommend getting a flash and tripod. i love my tripod especially at night.

the shots came out good man! what are you shooting with? manual or auto?

with a new flash you can adjust everything on it especially the pointing direction. the pic i took in the self portrait thread the flash was facing up (no lights on in the house) and it basically popped off the wall making the whole room light up

thats like asking why get a dslr when you have a camera phone!
if you dont know why you need a flash then dont spend the money on it. ;) there will come a day when you say "omfg wtf is the fAwK1ng point of this stupid piece of **** light on my camera" then you can go by a flash.

as for the tripod depending on why you want it a prime lens may be a better purchase esp if you are wanting ebay lenses (its cheap enough you can buy a legit one for ebay prices and be happy) i use my 35mm more then i use my tripod in an either or situation. and they both cost me about the same price.

Regarding a new flash/speedlight. You will know when. The stock pop up flash is harsh and washes everything out. Eventually you'll get tired of the lack of control it has.

Dave i get most of my gear from the POTN market place. Of all of my gear, 80% have come from there, 10% from B&H, 5% from Amazon and the last 5% from ebay/craigslist.
