lol just depends what your shooting.
all 3 of them should only be used outdoors in daylight
in low light they will all fail terribly.
so again depends what u want to shoot just dont expect to pick up one of these and go shoot an indoor sporting event.

if you go canon grab the 50 1.8. You can find them new/used ~$100. It's a cheap prime that can produce regardless of what people say. Sigma makes wonderful lenses with an affordable price tag. I had the Sigma 24-70 and besides it being loud with the AF it was a great lens.

thanks folks... I dont wanna over take the thread with my n00bness but, for outside shooting done I want something with a reach of like 200-300mm for zoom?
depends. Here is my set-up for right now. I shoot mainly auto-portraits, food, and drifting:
Bodies:
Canon 7D
Canon 1D MKI
Lenses:
Canon 70-200 f/4
Canon 35 f/2
Canon 85 f/1.8
I also have access to a Canon 5DII, Canon 17-40, 24-70, 80-200, 50 1.2 and a few others if I give my co-worker a days notice to bring them in for me.
It all depends on you usage. For anything automotive, I use the 70-200. If I need something wider, I borrow the 17-40 or the 24-70 but so for, I haven't needed to. For food, the 35 and 85 for brilliantly (look for some photos soon). For drifting events, the 70-200 is usually enough, but for this season I am renting a 300 f/2.8 IS because now I have the 1D.
Hope that helps.

what is wrong when you shoot outside? i usually shoot with Time value if im outside since it is bright you can have a faster shutter speed, and check your white balance, but when you move inside check your white balance again.
