i took photo 1&2 in school it was dope :D worth taking if u have the time for it.

 

Thank you guys. I took those pictures by changing every setting there was. Thats what I need to take at least 3 clases . I dont want to waste too much time on taking a picture. Another thing I may need to do is change lens. I bought the camera with the regular lens and the 55-250 lens, which they are great but someone at the store told me I would want a smaller lens to take better pictures.

 

They might be referring to a prime lens. They are pretty impressive when you first use them. What do you shoot with.

 

Maybe but what the difference between a pime lens and the other regular ones? I bought a Canon 3ti with the two lens and a filter. It was all a package.

 

Mainly, the f/stops. Prime lenses can shoot as wide as f1.8, f1.4, and even f1.2. The lens will perform better in low light conditions making it "faster". A lot of the time they have better image quality. I have the T2i and I picked up the $100 50mm 1.8, very happy with it.

Were you bought the lens because everywere I check its more than $200.

 

Found it on a forum for $80. I think they can be had new on Amazon for $109.

 

Skip the 1.8 and go for the 1.4 or 1.2

bebe2630, i don't live to far from you. when i get back from vacation, we should meet up and do some shooting. i have a canon too and a few primes you can try. i like working and learning from other photo people (no matter skill level).

This is something I think we should do as a challenge on month, find another photographer and do a sort of team shoot haha.
