Default HIDEXTRA.com - HID Kits

Many customers ask us, what makes a good hid kit from a bad one? Is it the xenon bulb? Is it the HID ballast. To put it in simple terms, it’s both and a little bit more.

We encourage you to read http://blog.hidextra.com/hidextra-hi...d-kit-quality/ so you will know why HIDextra kit is more superior than other aftermarket HIDs.

I bought mine at HIDextra also.

I love my new HID kits! excellent customer service and great quality products.

Was very easy to install, plug and play, no wire-cutting unlike some kits. My new HID lights give the car the aggressive look and improved visibility that I wanted.

Highly recommended HID vendor! Posting photos sooon!

They have all different size ballasts. I believe they just came out with a new version fo their slim ballast line.

Can you explain the difference between these?

Signature Series (35w)
Power Series (55w)
Stealth Series (Slim)

Hi Anti_Virus347,

Regards to the difference between the different HID ballast we carry,
Signature Series (35w): Standard size ballast with 35wattage going to the HID bulb.
Power Series (55w): Provides 20% more wattage to the HID bulb which provide 30-40% more brightness comparing with the 35w HID kit.
Stealth Series (35w): Slim ballast which is about half the size of a regular ballast and it is also 35w, frequently used for installation on vehicle that is more compact in the engine area for easier installation
Volt Series (35w): Our top of line HID ballast with the most advance built in component that will eliminate any issue a vehicle’s computer system have with aftermarket HID. And the Canbus ballast also produces the light output (lumens) almost equivalent to 55w while only using 35w and the quality of the ballast is equivalent to OEM ballast. A very high quality HID Kit recommend for all year, make, and model vehicle.

You can also visit http://blog.hidextra.com/picking-hid-ballast/ which will guide you in picking the correct HID ballast for your vehicle.

Please visit our website and let us know if you have any questions or concern.
