FS: Celica drivers seat modified for tC (Socal)
For Sale: Celica driver's seat modified to fit a tC1. Complete bolt on. No modifications needed. $120 firm, picked up in Socal 909.
Comes with a spare driver's tC seat belt buckle with wiring connectors. Some say the Celica buckle feels looser than the tC. You can also cut off the wiring connectors from the Celica's buckle and attach them to the spare tC buckle to turn off the airbag and seatbelt light. I originally bought and modified this for my tC in 2009. After I installed it, I discovered it sits about 1-2 inches too low for my taste (I'm 5'8"). So it sat under a sheet in my garage and I forgot about it LOL. If you're tall or wanna roll low/deep like a gangster, this is perfect for you LOL. This is has better overall support (lateral and lumbar) than the flat stock tC seats. It doesn't have height adjustment (the bar you push/pull on the stock tC seat to raise or lower it).
I'm not eager to sell this. If it doesn't sell, I'll weld on a Wedge or Corbeau seat bracket for a tC which will raise it to stock height. A good aftermarket seat (not made-in-china knock-offs) with a bracket will cost you $400+. I dont have a matching passenger seat.
