looking to get 2 05-07 tail light harness's so i can purchase some anzo tail lights for my tC

 

you can re-use your stock ones.

 

From the research I've been doing everyone says you need a 05-07 harness to use anzo tails and I have a 09

 

If he has an 08-10 tails he'll have issues with the reverse bulb not getting into the the housing. I've posted a pic showing the difference.

Now look at your reverse bulb in the Anzo housing and tell me it'll look/work right using the shorter bulb plug of the '08-10.

 

Is that the only problem I would run into on this because I'd everything else works I might be able to like shave a tab off my harness to get the reverse bulb to fit

The reverse bulb setup on top is from the 08-10 harness(the short reverse bulb plug), the lower is from the 05-07(longer reverse bulb plug). I don't have any close up of the reverse bulb installed(also currently away from my car for a while to take any), but if you were to run the 08-10 the bulb will not be set in correctly to shine against the reflector. I just straight swapped in the 05-07 harness after comparing the two. You are welcome to try the 08-10 I you want to, js.

 

o alright so basically with the 08 harness the reverse wont be as bright as it should be but it will screw and lock into the slot just fine and besides that everything else will be fine

 

I never tried to see if the '08 plugged in, so wouldn't be able to tell I it did clip in, sorry.

 

alright well thanks for you input, maybe someone else will chime in but from the stories and stuff im reading around on many different scion sites it seems that everything will hook up fine just the reverse bulb will be to short

 

yup, the two harnesses are different. only place you'll find one is either junkyard or the dealership. at the dealership i think it's $35 each side.
