Turbo kits "come" with a down pipe. The turbo kit "Stops" at the down pipe when in terms of the exhaust system. That is why it's called a turbo back exhaust when it bolts up to the down pipe....

Just FYI....yea you can have PTuning do whatever you want on the exhaust.
Not knocking on you, your pics/work looks good. Post pics up when you get an actual Scion exhaust system done.

What do you mean on a car ive never touched? I do custom exhausts on cars that are in my garage.

I understand what turbo kits come with. It should be called a DOWNPIPE back if it bolts up to your DOWNPIPE. TURBO back bolts to TURBO.

Yes Ptuning can do what you want.. but do you want to pay $1200+ for an exhaust?

trd07tc, look bro, you don't have to justify yourself to anyone. You've already let your work speak for itself, do not go tick-for-tat with people on SL, and definitely don't lose any sleep over it. You have done good work, you now have sparked the interest of other SL members that want to come to you for their exhaust needs. The next step for you is to become a SL vendor so you can really start selling your products. You are going to have some people talk ish' to you and they, themselves, have never had any type of forced induced car, in any way, shape form or fashion, you're going to have people that simply have done a lot of talking to 1 company and now live by everything that company says. Welcome to SL, that's just the way it works. People will live and die by what they "think" is the best and end up paying a premium for it but you have shown you can do the same quality of work for a fraction of the price; to each his own, but just continue to do what you do because it is good work.

Well, I'm not sure trd07tc is trying to sell an exhaust "kit", sounds like he's just offering the service for making custom pieces, local at his shop. I'm not sure what the stipulation is for being a "vendor", for services only he may not need to do that. I'm a new mod so hopefully someone with the business side of the house could chime in.

Either way, nice work man.

I'm just stating that if he wanted to start a push to get more business through SL it would be a nice way to go about it. If he has 1 tC he can use for test fitment it would be a nice product to sell to the community judging by his past work, good job.

The industry norm is to call them Turbo back since they bolt to the downpipe. That's just the way it is.

And it just seemed like you were trying to start up an advertisment for making people custom exhaust. If everyone has to travel to you for an exhaust, then you are a bit limited in customer base.

And PTuning didn't just make an "exhaust". It's specifically designed and engineered to bolt up to their turbo system. It also has a few little small details that might seem trival to some people, but to me it is very thoughtful.

Price is all a matter of what you wanted to do. To get EXACTLY what I wanted and have PTuning's quality to detail behind it (which they are the most detailed automotive shop I have come across thus far....like I said, they take care of the "little" things), is worth $1200.00 to me.
