Bought mine Nov. 8th '05 and I have 15K on it.

15140 in 3.5 months. I drive anywhere and everywhere.

About 18 months ago

 

I have 23,000 miles but I only get about 230 miles on a full tank and that's pretty low. What do u guys think the problem is for that. Im not a fast driver, I go about 5-10 miles over. Do u guys think that I should go somewhere and get it checked out, and if so where is a good place to get it checked out. I know the dealership is a place to go but do u guys know anywhere else.

 

Wow, 230 is extremely low. You should be averaging well over that, possibly around 320-340 easily. I get the with my tC with full bolt on mods. You might have something wrong with your A/F metering system inside your ECU or possibly a defective MAF that isn't throwing off a code. Call the dealer and ask them if anyone else has had this problem with the xB.

 

wow, according to that i don't drive very much...i got mine april of '05 too and i've only got 22k on mine...for not coming on road trips with us you sure do get a lot of miles lol

 

So if the A/F meterin system inside your ECU or your MAF is defective, if it is not throwing off a code, how can you tell for sure there is a problem?

I get about the same in my 06 and have since day one. Not sure what to do about it.
