Default Local Exhaust Shop

Alright so I installed my injen axleback last night and it's loud as hell! Does anyone know a good valley shop that can give me a GOOD deal on putting a resonator in my exhaust to tone it down a bit? Has anyone had this done at any of the shops around here and love the results? Looking for recommendations and a ballpark price.

I had Mad Hatter on 7th St and just N of Missouri put one on my tC. They did awesome work and it was cheap. I wanna say it was only $40. Call down there and ask for Guy. He's been there for 25 plus years.

yeah, i did mine at mad hatter also...in peoria though. It was $80 installed for a 30" resenator. It is a little cheaper for shorter ones than that, but I dont think you want to go shorter, because you have the exact setup i do and it sounds nice with the 30".

oh and the resp is gone and it just has a deep growl to it...anything shorter and I think it would still be loud IMO. And it does eliminate the stock resonator that doesnt do crap anyways. Good luck

last post...haha. I dont know if it makes a difference without the s pipe...so you might be able to run a little shorter of a resonator.

so why was bryan's so much cheaper than deofaz's ?? What kind of resonator did they put in yours deafaz? Magnaflow? I might go with a 22" if it is cheaper, I'm scrounging for money right now. My mom said she can hear me when i pull into the subdivision, and i'm just asking for the neighbors to complain :-x

the 22" isnt a whole lot cheaper maybe $10-$15 at the most. I dont think he got it for that cheap...but Im not really sure of the brand he used on my car but it looked legit. mine was really loud too...haha. I drove around like a granny for a day or two because it screamed when i got on it.

Preston, I don't remember what the price was exactly. They do great work tho. The res was magnaflow. I'll call Guy in the morning and get a price. It's probably the same price as the Peoria location. If so, at least you won't have to drive all the way to Peoria from Gilbert.

Mad Hatter did mine, it is a 21 or 22" res welded in, think the total for parts and labor was under $75.

I called Mad Hatter to get a quote and make an appointment, but they said that they just use the same thing at all their locations. Its a glass pack and not a resonator the lady said. I can get whatever length I need to make it how quiet I want, but I haven't heard good things about glass packs. Anybody wanna help me out? Oh, and they quoted me $70/installed
