why not take everything outta your last tC and put it in the new one?

that's what im planning on doing... taking the seats, HVAC, center console cover (w/ RS badge), short shifter, iPod HU & cables, hidden sub.. thats what im taking so far...

theres actually only that 1 badge on the dash... o and i also forgot, im taking the grills too...

Sorry, couldn't help it. That really does suck though.

 

What i cant see is that why the side airbags didnt go off and glad to see you are okay.

 

from what bbcrud, bryonscion, awesometc, and i (and my wife) can tell is that there was no impact hard enough on the side airbag sensors and thats why they didnt deploy... could be wrong though...

 

yea, thats weird. im surprised they didnt deply. im surprised the airbags on the sides of the seat didnt deploy either. i believe there was a recall on those becuase you could simply slam the door hard enough and the sensors would set it off. glad you're okay. i would try and search because i know there are a tiny amount of dealers with rs2's. one in florida does, i know that. i thought i had it bad... my car got keyed all around and is getting fixed at the dealer as we speak. sorry to hear about that man. goof luck.

 

umm... not to be a pessimist, but what happened to your first FM TC? you said "Guess I'll have to get ANOTHER FM....."

did you total that one too?

Man, your insurance company must LOVE you..... do yourself a favor and don't put innocent people in danger please, someone riding your tail doesn't grant permission to break the law.

On a lighter note, I'm glad you're ok, it's bad enough the car was totaled, but cars can be replaced, people can't. Take this as a lesson learned and be more careful next time, especially with passengers.
