Alright, so I was a little ambitious last night...was installing my shifter cable bushings trying to beat the daylight as it was getting nighttime. Well greasy hands, and shiny new stainless bushings = disaster. I finished up one shifter cable, working on the second, and of course, down goes the bushing along with it's snap ring into the bowels of the engine bay, never.....to be seen....again! :::insert dramatic pause here::::

So, in light of this tragic mistake on my part, i wonder if anyone has the hook up with any of the kick a&& N.S.T. folks who might be willing to part me out just the one bushing, and even better perhaps provide me with an extra bushing for free...(I know, it's a long shot, but worth asking me thinks)

Not sure what he can do for you, but Jeremy...Garage1217...is pretty tight with them I think. Maybe hit him up and see if he can lend you a hand. Good luck however it goes down and hope all get's taken care of ASAP!!!

 

I will see what I can do for ya, Pm me.... Most likley the bushing is sitting on the engine/tranny brace in one of the little holes or other...
