i used to run royal purple every 5-7k. but i went cheap this time and got the valvoline full synthetic special at autozone.

i run mobile 1 5-20 every 5 - 7k depending on how the car runs, i also do a full fuel injection cleaning every oil change (hooking it up to the dripper to the vacuum). Eneos is awesome guy i know runs with it and can take some beating thats for sure.

Mobil 1 Synthetic every 5k miles is a good way to go. Royal Purple is about just as good, if not better. The reason Mobil 1 is a better choice for an everyday driver is because it is cheaper, and if you run low on oil, you are much more likely to find Mobil 1 rather than Royal Purple wherever you go. Also, I hear good things about Motul oil.
