I totally agree with this. I have gotten zapped hard as RJ mentioned..... But what Randy says works everytime. I usually try to remember to grab the door or something when I get out. but I don't always do it and when I don't I get zapped.....

I may need to change from fabric softner sheets to those ***** you toss in, in place of dryer sheets

Thank God more people spoke up. I thought the Box was trying electrocute us. I thought the thing had it out for me. I was starting to have conversation's with it. I told it I keep it clean, Waxed, Smelling good inside, Gave it rims to roll on, Tinted the windows, Bought a short ram intake to breathe better, filled with good gas, Mobil 1 oil. And it still treated me poor. Now I have to blame Costco for selling such big boxes of dryer sheets. I have to go and apologize to the Box.

I'm sure the box will forgive you. Maybe if you stop using those sheets it'll even go fast. or maybe not

I don’t recall that I ever have, then again I have redone all the grounds on my tC. The ones under the hood, wiring harness, battery ground. I pulled them all off and removed the paint between them and the metal spades. I have a grounding system that covers all sides of the tC, engine and frame.

I tried the sleeve method also, then I resorted to pushing the door with my foot...I've "grounded" myself to the car as mentioned, but sometimes I still get shocked...perhaps I let go of the car to early...I will have to practice this method....

I spray my car down with Static Guard- you can get it in the laundry soap section anywhere. a organe and blue can- it is good for the house too..

I also get shocked all the time- but for some reason i was just chalking it up to my Shocking personality. lol
