This past weekend the staff over at Capital met to talk about starting a group buy for Scionlife Chicago area members. After speaking with SL staff and obtaining the proper permission we have decided to move forward with the offer. We are going to break this down for everyone to try and make it as simple as possible. ATTENTION: This is only for local Chicago area Scionlife members due to pick up requirements. IF you are willing to come to the west suburbs of Chicago aka Naperville and pick this up from our shop then your welcome to get involved.

The Product:
You will be receiving a brand new in the box In-Car DVD player with 7" Touch TFT Screen/SD/MMC Card Readers/BT/GPS/3D OSD Menu. This includes I-Pod Hookup, 2GB Map Space, Preloaded Maps, Navigation and Bluetooth capabilities. The specs are listed below.

* It does play both the DVD player and run Navigation at the same time.
* It does need a few extra parts like wiring harness and antenna adapter and others to use with your car.

About the Manufacturer:
The Yiton Group produces head units for Jensen, Pioneer and other major aftermarket in-car electronics companies. In addition to aftermarket Yiton Group produces many OEM head units for Ford, Buick and Chrysler. They are certified FCC and OEM compliant and have over 8 licenses to back that up. They have been a worldwide manufacturer of audio products for over 13 years. We have done a few transactions with them now and they are always available and very willing to help in any way they can.

How much is it? How will it work?
This is how the group buy is going to work. The total price that is needed via paypal per unit is $315. That covers head unit, shipping, insurance and paypal fees. Again you can purchase as many head units as you'd like but you need to make sure you send $315 for each unit. Once two weeks or 50+ head units have been paid for we will start the closing the group buy to proceed to payment with the manufacturer. I am told that it will take 5-10 days for the head units to be received. Jim, is the person I am dealing with over there and he quoted 3-5 days on the sample unit and he was right on target. So we are fairly sure this quote will be met without delay.

What will I need to install in my car?
There are a few items that will be needed to plug and play this unit into your car. These items are are very common and easily obtained through Metra. These items include antenna adapter, wire harness adapter and metra install kit. I was at a Circuit City on Saturday and found that they carry a wide variety or Metra install kits and adapters at 40%-60% off and had plenty in stock still. Obviously this was due to them going out of business so if you want to jump on those deals I suggest you do it before they close the doors for good.

Other info that is good to know:
***These head units are guaranteed by the manufacturer. That means they will repair or replace any defective units.
***Everyone that signed up on the first interest list will be entitled to purchase one of these head units within the GB payment allowance time.
***We will not be sending your hard earned money to China without taking the right precautions. We are setting up a Escrow account to release the money once the head units are received.
***Everything here is subject to change. If for any reason we feel uncomfortable with the deal we will cancel it and returns everyone's money.
***Once you pay you are 100% committed to buy. If you are not sure do not send the money. There are limited slots available in this group buy so please think before you send any funds.
***We do not accept partial payments or any other form thereof.

Once the GB is complete and we have the units in stock we will have a meet to pick up the units or you can stop by our shop and pick them up at your discretion.
