What are you using for the manifold and downpipe? Custom stuff designed by you? Or.....?

Yes I am having the flange made for the head this week. Then I am going to build a tublar style manifold. I am also going to build a custom down pipe. We are making this kit in house all at Sound Performance. We are also going to use the greddy e-manage insted of the SAFC beacuse I want to be able to control timing to make more power and we are also using are up-graded turbo on this car but I can not give details on it just yet.

So you are taking a departure from the existing ZPI and Dezod manifold designs? Doing something other then a "log" type manifold, going equal length perhaps?

We will see. I am trying to make the kit so people can buy it. If I make some crazy manifold the kit will be to much money. It will have a tubular manifold. I do not think it will make a hole lot more power with a crazy manifold but we are going to have a dual ball bearing turbo as a option. We are using that on the sound performance sponsored car..

(incase you dont know they mount them where the muffler is and ppl see great gains from them)

Well for a up-date. I just got back from the PRI show and talked to a friend of mine who just did a turbo on his TC and he told me a few tricks to make more power. I also am working with wilwood on brakes for Charles car and a few other sponsors for some interior stuff. I will have more pics up ASAP..

Here are some new pics of the project TC. We have the front mounted. I am waiting for the header to come back from the welder and the turbo should be here any day. I had almost every nut, bolt, and bracket you could see chromed. I will be offing a chrome kit for the XB,XA,TC very soon. I have the stuff at the chrome plater as we speak. The way it work is I send you the chrome kit swap all your bolts and brackets over and then send me your old parts back. The kit will include battery tie down, dip stick, hood prop, master cylinder bracket, every nut and bolt you can see and much more. I will have pics next week...
