Any private sales posts need to be posted in the Classifieds - but you need to have 50 posts in order to post there.

I didn't want to post it in the classifieds cause i only want to sell it to someone close . The great lakes regional forum should have there own classifieds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I agree. I posted my front lip as I wanted to trade locally only, yet it got moved off to some non-region specific "WTB"area, which does me no good:

Although I do agree with you, but rules are rules and there is nothing we can do about it.

Where you want to sell it makes no difference.

So whether or not you wanted to sell it to someone down the street or across the country, it would still need to be posted in the Classifieds. But then since you don't have enough posts to post in the classifieds, that's why I edited and locked your post.

Oh... and another word of advice... just posting random crap to get your post count up is NOT a good idea. Not only will you annoy the mods and make us not like you, you also annoy everyone else who has to read the useless posts.

Not that you were thinking about it or anything... but it has been tried MANY times and never turns out well. Thought I'd throw it out there.

ALL SALES posts... whether they're in person or via email need to be in the Classifieds. You'd just need to add a "LOCAL ONLY" or something to the post title.

But your main issue is that you don't even have the 50 posts required to post in that area. Rules is rules. I don't make them, just enforce them.

 

As ack said. These are the rules. If you don't want to follow them, go to Craigslist.
