have you caught crap for lowering your car in Maryland?
I live in md and i am about to lower my car but i was wondering how bad the cops crack down on lowered cars in md... does anyone know? or had an experience with getting pulled over with lowering springs?
Thanks for the help!

they can only ticket you for lowering if the body of the there sits lower than the bottom of the rim... The so called scruff line. which makes sense because if you get a flat they want you to skid out on the rim and not the under body of your car..... I don't know of any springs that will drop you that low. So any springs you buy will be good... I've been riding in lowered cars for 14 years and only been stopped in a truck I had because the rear use's block's and the u bolts where lower than the bottom of the rim.
Its like draxcaliber said. Its not so much if your ride is lowered but how you drive it. I work with many Howard County Police Officers who have commented that they think my car is cool and ask if i lowered it myself even though its stock, for now. Just drive appropriatly and you'll be fine.
Remember snow in MD sucks too

So true, cops look for two reasons to pull you and for the msot part all they need to do is follow you a few miles as most people do 1 of two things.
Do not signal, run or roll a stop sign, cut someone off or tail gate.
You know at highway speeds you should have 6 car lengths or 60 ft between you and the car in front of you?
Like hte tint shop told me, they wont pull me unless they see crack smoke coming out my windows.
