We're going to try putting the car on the ramps and off of the jackstands to get weight back on the wheels to see if that helps.
Did you unbolt the steering rack? everything else thats necessary? I guarantee you itll come out easily if everything is unbolted correctly. Be careful, its heavy.

Well Brian was graciously able to install my sway bars on Saturday. They went in with little to no problems from the bars themselves, however Hotchkis sent two wrong washers that needed to be dremeled to fit & some tools needed replacement. In the end, it was awesome to meet Brian and his little bro (not by choice according to Brian) and speed a decent saturday afternoon around cars.

Now that they are in, the car feels and handles much nicer, especially around curves, corners, exit ramps, etc. Once I get better springs and struts, it will be very nice.

Here are some install pics.

The sway bars and marine grease (better than the stuff that comes in the kit cause it is water resistance and salt-water resistance so when the roads are salted in winter, im not screwed).

Brian getting the stock one out

Stock (black) vs. Hotchkis (red)

Gettin the new bar lined up...

And there it is, rear is done.

Time to attack that front one

My god! The car has eaten Brian!

After a minor tool issue, the front bar came out relativly easy.

Gettin ready for the front install...

And there it is, all done.

A big thank you to BrianxB for doing this install and saving my the trip and money that would've gone into having PTuning do it. Awesome guy, great job, and good times.

Thanks for the chance to do the work Mike!. I hope youre enjoying it. Youll have to let me drive it the next time I see you and Im not covered in grease.

Let me know when you are ready for springs/struts/coilovers, etc.

Can anyone spot the K20 type R motor in this pic?
