I dont approve...You do not have the best anime/manga on there ever
Case Closed(as its known in the states) Conan the detective(as its known in japan)
otherwise, you have very excellent taste

I love Conan’s gadgets, I want his bow-tie so I can manipulate my boss. I have seen the first 4 seasons of Meitantei Conan but don’t own the DVD’s! I just can't see myself buying it. It would take me way too long to watch all 303 episodes and all 14 movies of that series. I only have time to watch about 16 hours of anime on average each week. I have just over 1,500 hours of amine in my collection. It would take me over 2 years to watch my entire collection at the rate I am currently going and I keep buying more each week.

Out of the 270 titles I own, I have not been able to finished or even start over 40 of them. I end up going back to the ones that I completed and watch them again and again. For example, I was watching random episodes of Ranma ½ and Initial D last week. Just last night I had the craving to start watching Now and Then, Here and There for like the 10th time. Damn that anime is good! I still have not even got a chance to start Gad Guard, Kaleidoscope, Shuffle or Sol Bianca.

It’s a never ending tornado of anime to watch. I just wish that I had more time to watch all of what I own.

UPDATE

THE OTAKU IS BACK!!!

I am now back at SUNCOAST, this time at Rosedale Mall! Lost my old position back when they closed the one at Northtown Malls back in 3/06. Trans World Entertainment recently bought out the company, the owners of FYE. The store is no different then the last one that I worked at, other than the fact that they have new computers that are more difficult to work with.

Hope to see some of you Anime Junkies there! I will only be working part-time to fund the hobby of buying Anime DVD’s that I really don’t need!

BTW...

If you read Newtype-USA, check out July's issue of the Collector's Corner... It's me! The collection has grown since then too... 268 titles, 628 DVD's (60% direct imports) at just under 15,000 hours or viewing pleasure.

I still need to get the soundtrack

...I find myself humming the song from Ballad of Fallen Angels all the time...(though I doubt that's on the soundtrack)

Grave of the Fireflies makes me cry like a little girl every time. I can't seem to make it through without a tear.

i literally think every song in the series in on the soundtrack, it is like 7 separate discs. i also have this cd from the 2001 earth girls are easy tour with live performances.

there is a 4 disc "limited edition" box set. i really don't like it because is more of a "best of" kind of selection. and it isn't even fun to listen to because between nearly all the songs are original japanese dialogue from the series which is kinda annoying. the forth disc is the best though because it is a bunch of the good songs performed live from that concert.

the "other" set i am talking about is the original 7 disc complete soundtrack. got it off ebay. it has literally like all the music, songs backround music, opening the closing themes etc. and one disc is a bunch of remixes too. i put them all on an mp3 cd that i just let play all the time.

Yeah, I just don't know what to do with it all. Ani-mayhem cards might be worth something. Some of the stuff I don't even remember how I got it. Why the heck do I have a Cutie Honey doll?... At lest it's still in the box.
