It happens top me seasonally I guess haha. Never in the summer though, winter is a pain. Wakes me up in the morning though. That's for sure.

I got shocked so bad sometimes it hurts! I feel your pain bro!! I haven't tried anything to stop it, but maybe the grounding wires will work...

just go to Fry's electronics or your regional computer type store and get a grounding strap for your body, clip your self to your frame [or lack there of] and you should be good to go. when people see you with a wrist band and one of those little coiley cords with a gator clip at the end, they will just think you work at a bank or something.

go to a good parts house such as NAPA, get a frame to ground strap.
attach to the frame of your car just to where the strap is touching the ground.[earth]
the strap has metal threads imbedded in it. therefor grounds your car to earth.
this is what fuel tankers and explosive transports use to prevent static discharge other than to earth.

see theres a perfect excuse for a mod. just bag your car, run some grounding blocks and drage frame wherever you go. youll be fine! hahaha

Thank God Some One other me gets this. I've had 2 xB and both of them have done that. I think it's the seats. So when you slip out of the car and touch the door. ZAP!! ****!!!! I hate it

tis the season. its dry out this time of year. during the summer it should occur as regularly. but the summer out here in phx is just as bad, i dont even wanna touch my car, not from the shock, but it will be like 150 degrees inside and out. ew!
