Pittsburgh Scion Owners
Did you have any issues with the airbag light when you installed the aftermarket seats? Also, what brackets did you use?
I hope to make it to Exposed again this year. As long as I don't have to pull the all day crap like I had to last year, lol. Leave Pittsburgh at 4am, get to show in Indy, and leave Indy at 8pm with huge storm coming to get back home at 2am. that was a long day.
i would like to try and hit up some shows/ meets in western pa... im from a crappy little town called Mercer an hour north of Pittsburgh and there really isnt much of a following here. anybody relatively close to me ever wants another tc to roll around with hit me up! I need new car friends haha

Any 08+ Pittsburgh tC owners looking to get rid of or trade their tail lights? I'm debating about getting RS3 TYC lights, 08+ tails, or something from ebay. Kind of tired of looking at all the red across the back of my car, and the local PD don't appreciate tinted tail lights
hey guys! i picked up my new daily driver!

a 1967 regged as historic! I was just jammin down the highway at 80 and its such a blast to drive. Needs some cosmetic work but i'll cover that soon. Me and Heidi are going to be cruzin some classic style this summer
but ive been driving stick for the last 11 years and i drove this thing like it was my fist time. Mechanical linkages with no syncros is just pure madness. If you dont hit the small sweet spot the car just hates your guts. I drove it all around tonight and im starting to win her over haha

thanks!
I've been driving it around all week. I was driving it around a parking lot showing my buddy how to drive it and about 5 people came out of the bar/restaurant and were all checking it out. People seem to really love old bugs!
I just ordered in a real VW shop manual and a Restoration manual. Im going to clean it up, needs a little cosmetics and a few new motor/tranny mounts but then im going to paint it with chalk board paint so when i take it up to the cruise nights people can draw all over it and just have fun with it.
Maybe when i get everything on the inside back to OEM and i pick up some new fenders and when not i'll get it a proper paint job but for now its just a blast to drive and its all about just having fun with it.
It has a stinger exhaust and if your driving and let off the gas, count to 3 then hit the gas again it shoots out a nice big flame haha. Its fun to drive at night and see a blue and orange colored burst out of the rear view mirror lol. I get thumbs up from a lot of people on the I10
I would say if you want an old cheap reliable car, look at a bug. There just so much fun

hey peeps
Got an invite yesterday to head down to the GM powertrain plant. Really fun time. Got to tour the whole plant and even got to mess with a fork lift. They make the 4 cylinder L850 engine there. Heres a vid of the assembly line:

I have some more vids but i'll get to those later

haha man you always spot everything right away!

yea its a Suzuki DRZ400SM. Love every second of this thing. Its become my new daily driver for the most part.
I was going to pick up a Buell Firebolt XB12R but i just love dirt bikes. I got sick of riding ***** on the street so supermoto was the best bet.
Ive already been jumping curbs and riding down sidewalks under the streets. SO FULL OF WIN!

My goal this year is to turn Phoenix into my own supermoto playground.

I'm good like that! I've been eying them up as well recently. I put some more street oriented tires on my xt 225, its a blast but it doesn't have the suspension and brakes that the drz has.
