MY CAR MY CAR!! UPDATE 10-7-08
SO, today, (sigh).. my car was struck.
I was heading south on hiway 9, going to Renton to take the mom to a doctors appt.
a Jerk off in the lane to the left of me, and slightly ahead of me, suddenly turned sharply right, into my lane causing me to plow into him.
As I was still exiting my car, he ran over, jumped on me, and proceeded to start choking me. I broke his hold, and he started swinging. 3 witnesses stopped him, and had called the Police. Longer story short. HE's currently in jail, charged with assault, and the police have supplied all the info, to my insurance.
But my car is currently messed up, waiting rebuild.
what a FU day!
UPDATE: Today I had an appointment/interview with the PA. The jerkoff that attacked me has been charged with 2nd degree Felonious Assault. Although apparently he had no prior record, the PA says he was just an idiot that did something REAL stupid. I guess in Washington state (and maybe others) the term "Roadrage" encompasses several charges, The above being one of them. The PA says that whether the JO pleads out, or is convicted, he WILL be seeing some significant jail time. Whatever significant means in this case.
On the Plus side, I'm finally getting my box back this coming Friday. According to Cary at Special Interest, the reason it's taken so long is that Toyota/Scion REALLY took their time getting them the parts they needed. He said they JUST got the new fuse box, and TRD CAI. SO keep your fingers crossed for me. :D Looking forward to seeing everyone again this month at the M&G's in my OWN box . :D

OMFG So glad you are ok...sorry about your car that so blows...what luck you seem to have with your 2nd Gen...maybe you should step up to a 1st gen...you'll have better luck lol

Bummer - Glad you and your Mom are ok. Man your Mom must have been shocked ant that guys reaction. Well cars can be fixed but people thats a lot harder to do. Hope things work out.

Dude Monday morning get onthe phone to the Procecuting attorney and have the assault charges raised to Road Rage......higher sentance in Washington......and if they do not want to hear it go to their office and let them hear it......
Personally I would love to say what I would love to do to the guy......but I do not want to be banned.......
His actions deserve his right to freedom removed from him and a nice long time as someones personal love buddy in the pen need to be invoked.........
Make sure to goto a doctor and also have yourself and your mother checked out.....and be sure to give his insurance a nice long bill for all your pain and suffering......in fact make sure to goto court and fight for your rights to compensation.........
