It doesnt take much to total a car out these days... Sometimes its better to get it totalled out so you dont end up with a salveged title...

Yep, the Police said as far as the accident goes, he was CLEARLY in the wrong, and caused everything according to all witnesses. And is in a bit of a hot spot now.
MF'er.
Man I can feel your pain. Not only did this psycho wreck your baby with his stupidity...and put you and your mom's life in danger.... and then flip out and come at you?.... That had to take a lot of restraint for you to not make him part of the pavement. But it paid off by only him getting a free trip to jail.. We can only hope that he got a nice quant cell with a big dude named Bubba ;)

Glad I could help cheer you up my fellow Scion brother.

and in all honesty... I am completely discusted with our society today.... and people like the ***** that attacked you after HE was at fault for the accident thinking THIS is acceptable behaviour? Just makes me want to vomit.
Unfortunately it was once said.... the human race will never make it because it is in their own nature to distroy themselves.
I wish that wasnt true.

Everyone, I just want to thank you for the warm wishes, and concern. it's GREAT being a part of this Scion community/family.

Zindy, Brian, Thanks for the call. feel free any time. I guess thats what makes this harder for me. I Love getting together with everyone. I've NEVER had a bad or boring time, and any of the M&G's or events I've attended. It's always been a great time, and you people are a BIG part of that. I WILL make the next M&G , if not in my own car, I'll be there in my wifes van. I think it's a good chance my Box won't be ready for Toyotafest though.

The wife is being VERY cool, and says that if the insurance won't cover EVERYTHING, (specialty parts) or totals the car, that she has NO problem with me doing it all over again. Gotta love her..

meeko... that is agreed... the most important thing is that everyone was okay. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that it angers us rational law abiding citizens this " " close from wanting to sock people like that straight in the eye. I vote for chemical castration for people like that. Wackos should NOT be allowed to breed.

I agree with you Grey Fox.... I've lived all over this world... and I love the USA. .... but just as with anything else.... you have the jerks thinking THEY are in the right... and with the right dirty lawyer.... can screw innocent people. I have lived in countries with many less liberties that are afforded to Americans. They dont put up with crap like this. and they dont throw the book at them... they throw 10 books at them. I am German and in my native Germany they are very strict and do not tolerate jerks like who hit our friend RedBeard

Greyfox... also... thank you for adding "driving is a privilege not a right" to your comment. I think many here in the US forget that simple fact. In my native Germany.... example. I paid over 2000 US dollars to get my driver's license when I was 16. What they do here for a license is a joke. Example. if you are caught in Germany for driving under the influence of alcohol.... first time is 1000 dollar US fine and picture in local paper as a drunk driver. 2nd offense is 10,000 dollar US fine and lose of license for life. And if caught driving after that.... you go to prison. the rest of the world does not put up with what the USA does.

dude those pictures make me sick.........brand new car......brand new mods.......jsut won a trophy at Exposed........and then nut job on dope most likely decided to be a wack job.......

What amazes me is redbeard is a big guy......this is why I say the guy was on dope......I know my little butt would not go after him........no matter how high I was.......LOL....

Remember if for some reason they total it pull off all your parts.......if needed I will leave work and help pull them........looks repairable though.......Scions are tough cars.

I agree Mouse, driving tests and such here are a joke. I have this rule for my daughter in order to get her license....she has to have all B's or better to get a permit and has to be on honor roll to get her license. Why? Well because drivig a car is like having a loaded gun in your hand. You have the power to kill someone. And you need to be responsible with that type of "power". Too many parents let kids get licenses just because they don't want to have to drive them around anymore and it is convenient.

The driving test proves NOTHING. Almost anyone can be a "good driver" for a short period to pass the test. There needs to be stronger laws about road rage.....a way for people to turn others in....police aren't everywhere.

Now I am not saying big brother should be looking over everyones shoulder...but I guarantee people would drive different if everyone had to have a "hows my driving" sticker on their car.

It makes me sick that this guy caused this wreck and had the audasity to go after redbeard.

Redbeard, at least your wife is cool about it. It doesn't make it any easier....but get an attorney....pain and suffering can go a long way. They should pay for all of it....keep your chin up! We are all pulling for you!
