Hmm, I need your help.

I'm writing a speech for class on why we should improve the 91 freeway/IE to the OC.

I wanted to ask those people who go through it (like me) your opinions on why
we should improve the 91 freeway and how so.

I've already addressed the whole idea about the OCTA Express Lanes.

on a friday i will leave orange, ca at 230, take the 91 and wont get to moreno valley, ca till 5/530. that is damn near a 3 hour drive which is usually a 45 minute drive. i understand that its on a friday, but that is still ridiculous.

the transition from the 60 west to the 91 west us the WORST piece of engineering i've ever seen, seriously..they need to get that ____ fixed, not to mention that freeway is pothole hell.

the toll lane needs to be made into normal lanes, the whole concept of toll lanes is retarded. I thought we all pay out the **** in taxes was partially for roadway improvments, instead they let private companies come in and profit off our sh!!y **** commute, and the reason we are all making this long commute is because we can't afford homes next to our jobs, so we have to move out to BFE to live were homes are(were) more affordable.

livin in mo val was nice and quiet. some houses, and then dirt. i remember goin to Lake Perris and seein no homes on the way.
apts are renting for like 1500 + starting wit 2 bedrooms. that is ridiculous. houses at half a million.
and....
NOW there are houses everywhere. its no longer the nice quiet town. now its becoming the "lil LA" aka Murda Valley

How about give the toll roads to the truck drivers and we get the freeway to ourselves. I agree to the pot hole situation. I got one of my rims dented cuz of that. I them. Come on, at least cover them up. The biggest problem is the intersection with the 215 S.D. and the 60. No one knows how to transit to the 60, AYYYYYYY.

I also agree with the 60/91 interchange. The worst thing. The Engineers were aiming more for looks than function. HELLO, form follows function. Not function follows form.

Also, I think we should just make another freeway for just the slow drivers because there are a lot of them out there. Also, it would help if Cal trans would hurry the ****up on the construction. Damn pay them up front or pay them after the work is done so they could hurry up and build faster. The construction has gotten me probably close to a grand in paint damage. Debris my a$$.

Thats not a bad idea about the trucks, put them all in there own lane, That should have been done years ago, like the 50's when the infrastructure was building up, have trucks on there own freeways.
