If they shoot it in Brazil or Europe they will do some shooting here with Brazil or Europe backgrounds. That is what they did with Tokyo Drift and FF4. The best cars are in Cali.

I heard that too, however, they did shoot most of Tokyo drift in LA.
CSI Miami is filmed in LA too, except for the pick up shots.lol

Filming will begin later this year for a 2011 release. FAST FIVE

Were taking OMC's XA to the set of NCIS LA next week, this will be the second shoot it has been in for them. some of the same peeps that pick the cars for this, worked on FF too so if we can get any info we will.

I really just wish they'd make a movie about the cars and not the overblown ego actors or magical miracle NOS that transforms any Civic into a supercar. What they did to the fastback mustang in the last one was a crime.

 

Even thought transformers has overuses explosions and epic scenes, that movie is more of a car movie then any of the FF movies. When I watch Transformers, I am amazed by the coolness and usage of the vehicles. Like when the camaro pulls up to the party and everyone is like oh snap. FF waters down to unrealistic stunts, NOS, drugs, and riced out vehicles with tons of stickers. Oh neon lights as well.

 

Friggin' crazy....but keep me posted... I might be willing to roll down that way for it
