Default passing a smog test in cali

how do u pass a smog test in cali with and upgraded tc. seems like any modification will make u fail that test. wat mods can u put on a tc and still be good for the smog test. i live around cerritos and lakewood anyone know who will pass us on smog test for a higher fee

well only way you can pass is with a cat back exhaust ^-^

who takes a higher fee

You'll probably get better responses in the SoCal regional forum, and frankly, you probably won't get too many since tCs bought in California don't have to be smogged until 6 years after purchase. As I said in another thread, it's better to remove all mods as CARB has been cracking down on Smog stations that cheat. If you have a turbo, getting it removed for a day or two will probably be better in the long run, and there are enough tC owners you can borrow spare parts from that you can return your car to stock, pass smog, and go back to what you were doing until your car starts getting regular smog checks 6 years after it was purchased.

You can get away with having a stock trd supercharger, trd cat back, as long as they have the c.a.r.b. stickers.[/b]
