One other thing a radar detector probably would have saved you because they have audo alerts and voice alerts as well.

 

use a radar scrambler.....it detects the radar signal and then sends a signal back and makes the gun read blank. I have seen what it does to the signs in cali on the side of the road that show your speed. It screws them all up.

I love those signs man, there was one just to the right of a driveway I was leaving, and it read me at 16 and jumped up to 24 no stops between! that was fun.

 

Keep in mind scamblers are ilegal in Cali. Radar Detector are ok to have.

Cost me 435 dollars but i didnt fight it because i didnt want to drive all the way up there. 2 points went on my record to. OH YAH dont waste your time going to traffic school your ppoints get erased once you turn 18 so it whould be a waste of your time and money

radar detectors dont do ____, by the time they go off, you were already hit.

radar jammers are EXTREMELY illegal ($100,000 fine and jail time and are pricey and hard to get)

laser jammers are legal (not in cali though), relatively cheap, and give you great protection against laser

 

Thats only true if laser is used. In California Ka band is used 95% of the time which warns me close to a mile away.

 

i live in LA, they use laser here as far as i know.. no more radar

 

Here in Sacramento thats not the case. soon every LE will be using Laser. RD companys just have to build a better RD.

i have a question.. so for traffic school , if i want to take it online do you take ONE test and past it and thats it? or is there like chapters you have to read and pass quizzes.

i got a ticket going "90" yes 90... on the 91 freeway. i was driving the the fast lane too and it was empty! so bull but hey you live and you learn. on average what do you think the price of the ticket will be? i'm thinking about 200-400 this is my second ticket. my first ticket is when was a minor driving people around ( STUPID HUH ) it was only 56 bucks but my insurance went up because i was obviously guilty of breaking the law.

so yeah help me out here guys i dont want to be alone dealing with this ticket issues.

i took traffic school online. they give u chapters to read, BUT YOU DONT REALLY HAVE TO. u can jus skim through them if needed.
u can keep taking the test till u pass, and it doesnt count against u.

BUT.........i did this about 3 years ago, so i dont kno if it still worx the same
