Omaha peeps
yeah our beater/commuter car has no A/C so i was like no way in hell she gonna drive it. well if all goes ill have tags on it friday after work. then ill be able to enjoy driving it once again. ill finally get to drive it this summer! lol. oh do any of you guys have a stock front bumper by chance and stock hood? if so let me know asap thanks
It makes sense what you're doing for your gf, I'd do the same if I was in your position.
cool cool. well im off saturday! if i get tags on the car i want to cruise up to omaha and take the girl out to eat somewhere. the beater wouldnt make it up there. its so crappy! lol. i think cheese cake factory sounds delicious this weekend. its not set in stone but maybe we could all meet up?
Yeah i basically save up all my vacation time for the summer, because that's the peak of racing season and also when they put on events such as this. The rest of the year, I just work and not take any days off because there's not much.
ha dont blame yah! i havnt stayed at my job long enough to get vaca time yet. pretty lame. even if i did id still probably work cause id just be stuck at the house doing pretty much nothing. lol
I don't have a scanner or else I would upload my time slips, but I ran a 9.6 @ 89mph in the 1/8th on Friday night. That was my first time ever, and I had fun doing it even though I couldn't get traction in 1st or 2nd lol. Before I could get a second run in, my car died while idling during staging.

ACT heavy duty clutch, Competition lightweight flywheel, LSD (can't remember which one), and tires are Nitto Neo Gens wrapped on 18" Konig Lace rims. I agree it is a bit slow
but like I said it was my first time ever going down a track (with any car) so the staging, hitting the tree, and getting grip was all new to me lol.

I am nowhere near stock. I have a turbonetics turbo kit pushing 11.5lbs of boost using Hydra EMS, and custom 3" exhaust along with the mods I listed in my last post. The LSD I have is the Quaife btw.
Most, if not all of the muscle car drivers were wearing helmets. Myself and a handful of other drivers were NOT wearing helmets. I asked the tech about helmets and he said it isn't required on Friday nights for the street drags.
