Hi, I am in the process of maybe purchasing a 2008 Scion XB. Matter of fact i am supposed to go sign the papers in the morning. I will not get my vehicle until next week due to the fact that the color that I want is not in Albany, GA.

My question is does this vehicle break down or tear up alot? If it does require repair and the warranty is out, do the parts cost an arm and a leg? I currently own a cadillac deville and the upkeep is awful and I can't afford it. I know that my insurance will only go up $5 a year. That is great but I have done some research and came across this site and thought that I would ask owners.

not sure on the 08 xb's but you are buy a toyota product that prety much runs for ever with up keep

Thanks for your post and I know that is hard to tell on a new 2008 but do you like your scion and have you had problems?

on the rs4 i have had not problems and on the blue one that i traded in for this one no problems tell the dealer got it they had to replace the clutch befor selling again.


the only thing that have have seen on here is just some rattles on the 08's but nothing major so far


and welcome to the life of a scion owner and i would suggest to maybe join a local car club like www.scikotics.com or sciongry in your area all the owners like to help out alot
