si runs good, i love it. just went to the track tonight and ran 14.9 3 times, all stock.

i dont really car where we gonna put the spray.. i just dont think they will be happy to have the spray in their class.. dont you think???

i dont know what to say about this because i dont have turbo or s/c.. but im pretty sure i would be angry if a guy get a trophy because he was faster with his spray on the 1/8 track.. you know what i mean?


BTW i need everyone on this.. so if this is the reason why 5-10 guy wont come from orlando then we gonna find out what to do to make them come down!!!

 

I'd just be aware that there are different classes. If an Orlando guy comes with a built motor... that takes the fun away... I think it would be interesting to can the trophies but have a leader board kind of thing....almost like dragtimes.com

 

Most events have sprayed guys with turbo guys since theres not that many of them anyhow. Besides, whocares? if hes running high 13's. low 14's on spray, so are the turbo guys. sounds pretty fair to me.

I like the idea of running against anyone. maybe have someone logging time slips and then post online.

 

i was thinkin the same thin... my wife.. she could be at the booth and logging the times with her laptop....

 

I just want to chime in and say I'd pay to come. On that note why are we now discriminating against built motor guys? A built motor don't mean much if the power don't go to the ground and/or you don't have supporting mods. Not counting me there is one built motor that most of us know is in west palm and he never ran faster then 12s (12.4 I think). We also know that turbo (non built) have run in the 12s (12.1 I think was the fastest). So with that said I say it's all fair game built or not. I will say if I hit 11s I'll drop out of the race.

Wait as I was typing I realized this is a 1/8th track so built or not will not make a difference. Built motor guys will be spinning all the way to the 1/8th spot. Seriously!

Anyway, I'm in if my car is put together by then and tuned which it should be unless... oh, crap I better just shut up.

I don't think I could make it to Miami if it is there. I guess I assumed Jupiter. Although, there hasn't really been many details about date, time, and location.

I don't know off the top of my head. I will have to track down my timeslip. I'm not used to really looking at the 1/8th mile times because where I am at we have a 1/4 mile track and I have never run an 1/8th track before..so I am not used to looking at it. Im guessing low 9's, but like I said, I don't know for sure.

 

At the 1/4 mile track, your time slips have 1/8th mile on it too... It should be low 9's with a 14.1 1/4 mile time.
