Default Time Attack / Auto Cross Event???

How would you guys feel about "Time-Attack / Auto Cross" events for Scions. But, I have to assemble the team first, get a presentation package ready with pictures, specs, and credentials on the drivers, and vehicles. This would be presentesd to local shops and dealerships. Anyone who is a member of the SCCA or Equipe Rapide is encouraged to PM me. Anyone interested????

Vehicles in mind are : TC, XA, XB, Yaris

Not too many people are into that, but it'd be cool.

BTW, you forgot Echos

Sorry, I did forget the Echos. Them too.

You see right now with all these Micro-Compact Cars, such as : Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, and of course the Micro- Compact Toyota Line up. There is a new era of competition in time attack. South Florida is so not up to pace in the industry, that I am beginning to wonder if all Miami is about is rinky dink carshows, and ricers. (WHOLE DIFFERENT THREAD)

But back to the topic.

I know some of you out there have the right suspension mods, and dont take advantage of it. So, PM me, and lets get something started.

Can you explain in more details exactly what you are trying to do? Where?

Interested...

Well Im glad you asked Cracker TC. What good are all your mods if you dont put them to use. I see you have everything from a camcon to polyurethane enginemounts.

I want a team. Toyota's only. Small Micro-Compact era vehicles, along with a few TC's. As I said before, Micro-Compact is the new thing. Im trying to organize events for those cars the SCCA wont allow. The TC's is just to be fair to the Scion Community. And a lot of your guys got what Im looking for.

Some time with the next couple of weeks I will hold a meeting to discuss everything in detail. But due to the amount of haters if scene on this forum, I wont talk about it too much. I have to know people are seriously into it. I cant have someone with sleeve coilovers, and non-functioning performance parts wasting my time. So far, the few of you who have responded to this thread seem to know what your doing based on mods, and PMs. Thanks gentlemen.

There will be sponsorship for those few which will be chosen based on current mods, and skills on a roadcourse which hasnt been decided yet. We will also take into account any credentials, and street credit. I might organize something with Equipe Rapide, maybe they will let us use some time at one of their events.

Any of you who can help, and want to do something good for the scene in Miami. I would appreciate your help. This is not a fly by night thing either, this will be long term. And the team will grow, and eventually I have plans of having a Micro-Compact Racing Association.

might want to talk to dave hutter at gulf coast autocrossers,
about some track time.. they use an airfield once a month..
about a 2 hr drive from here, but for a one or two time deal,
those that are serious will get there, and can test run.. just a
thought..

Well, sounds good, I currently do AutoX with ER and might start going to the Gulf Coast events.

Next year, I'm planning on going to nationals.
I run in the FSP class.

I'm up to support you if you do this, I'm currently with a team but most of the cars are stis, evos, and stuff, there are only 2 tc's including mine.

Anyhow, please keep me informed.

Thanks
