The car looks sweet, and prime for FI! My only concern is that at 6' in height I would look like a circus bear riding a tiny bike.
Although, I still would want one, if the price is good.

not interested in that small thing....cool concept though...i think it'll sell well.

more worried if they *screw* up the tC...
if they change it like the xB, as much as they did, i'll hate it.

...1st gen xB ftw.

what about the name though? Scion iQ? no x!?!?!

Actually, the name is one of the best parts. It's "iQ", as in intelligence quotient. A total slam on the "Smart" car. To keep it in line with the rest of the Scions, the first letter is lower case...

The Smart had so many opportunities that they totally missed out on. I hope the iQ takes advantage...price point, stellar MPG. The Smart is really expensive, and the gas mileage is only ok. Done right, the iQ will KILL!

This car looks sweet. I've been watching it for several months now since it debuted in Japan. If it comes stateside I might have to get one. I already have lots of great ideas for stuff to do to it.

I'd hope they keep the iQ name for the US for Scion. Scion is supposed to be edgy and anti-corporate so are they going with a corporate naming scheme? I also don't like the idea of a corporate face with the xB and the tC now using the same grill. Scion's products need to be distinct from most other things on the market and from each other.

lol, i think this every time I see a tC owner saying "WHOOOO CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW ONE!"

I'm like "um...you did see what happened to us....right?"

If I was you guys, I'd be nervous as hell. If this is xB2 The Sequel, it's going to be a rebadged camry.

exactly how i feel...and i kinda want the new one w/ the 2.5L if it's true....

...just so long as it doesnt turn into the xB2 of tC's....! MINOR tweaks...ONLY.

...pretty much change i feel about Scion if that happens....murderers of the xB...not the tC!!! Please!!?

Well, it's already on sale in Europe and it run you about $12,000 US dollars.
It's supose to get about 65 MPG but i think that's the diesel version.
So.... yeah I'd pay an extra thousand or 2 for an extra 30 MPG over the yaris.
Step in the right direction for Scion
Now just re-badge the fuse to a tC.
Bring back the old xAs and xBs as a hybrids.
And build the Haku and the xP Truck and you would save the brand.
Later.

As a PROUD owner of an xA.. I MUST admit this is not exactly what I thought of when I think new model Scion.. BUT they could pass it off as a 2 door model of the xA re-incarnated!!!!

And hubby Jimxb would probably buy one to use as a daily driver as long as the price was in that $12,000 range!!
