i see what they're trying to do, but man it's so weird looking to me. better than the smart car, but i'd still look down upon it. hard for me to believe how many ppl like it b/c of looks. for me only upgrades are options, so this is not an option. just saying. they'll do well i guess.

You already have a Scion. They aren't making it for you.

I think he means he's only interested in cars that would be upgrade from the tC. So if Scion brought out some RWD 300hp sports car, he'd be interested.

For me, I love that the iQ would bring Scion back to it's roots of bringing very Japanese cars that you wouldn't expect to see in our country to market in the US.

That's what I mean. Scion's have always been there just to get your feet wet in Toyota's pool; they want you to consider Toyota when you upgrade from your econocar. Specifically, he's going to be in the market for the Toyubaru in a couple of years.

I would like to see and drive one but it looks like I have to wait a year for that to happen or pray for my Company to send me to Europe this January.

Superior Gas Mileage, more HP, more room over the Current Smart Car + it's cheaper, definitely on my list. Heck, I'm due for a new car and it's too bad the 08 xB didn't do it for me.

Although, I still would want one, if the price is good.

It's 3+1 seating.. which means the driver's seat is pushed all the way back, leaving room for a little child in the rear, then a full passenger (co-pilot), and full passenger behind the co-pilot...

3+1.. there is plenty of room....

I like it. I really hope they will come out with a small Scion like this. After I saw the xD and new xB, I thought they had given up on small cars.

That sure is a diplomatic way of saying "cramped rear seat, unusable for adults." Somebody in marketing must have thought for _hours_...!

They should do what Porsche and VW did, pull the pseudo seats and replace them with a useful parcel area. Make it an honest 2-seater.
