Scion Fuse to be Unveiled at NY Auto Show
The concept will feature a chopped top and a short snout, but we're told those aren't necessarily future Scion styling cues.
There's a clever techie gimmick, too: turn signals built into the wheels.
The concept's name: Scion Fuse.
Scion execs decline to say whether the coupe actually points the way toward a future production model, as last year's futuristic xB concept did, or is just a pure styling exercise done for fun. Stay tuned.

on that note, I think its possible from an engineering stand point, to build an MR car (a la MR-S) on a FWD platform (a la Corolla).
Pretty much any and all offical press releases from Scion indicate there are no changes to the lineup planned.
When we go to Toyota/Scion events were are given timelines. There is nothing for Scion indicated through 2008.

(What amazes me is the number of folks who want/expect Scion to produce a Porsche Boxter with extra high-tech add-ons for under $18K.
)
I'm content to wait and see what they really produce, because I'm happy with my current Scion.

No, Michael, its Toyota that’s stupid. Don’t limit your scope to just the Scion label. Remember when Toyota brought us the annoying flashing third brake light a few years back? Besides, Scion is targeted to the Pokemon generation anyway…of course they’re gonna do tacky stuff.
