You know after all this hype.. I'm betting on a dissapointment..

 

there is no where to go for this coupe but dissapointment. People that say the scion line-up is fine, and the brand doesn't need saving. Obviously do not read the tC forums.
To be perfectly honest. When the tC was released, toyota new that the chief competetor was the civic SI. and I think people would agree that the tC did perfectly. But what is this hako coupe ment to get the attention of if its not a tC replacement?

 

It's not the tC replacement..... more than likely it'll be the beginnings of the 4th model.... the Fuse will be relied heavily upon for the tC replacement.

its in no way going to be a diesel anything. Diesel costs more than premium octane gas. and that does not fit the scion demographic.

 

it may cost a bit more but it gets a lot better gas mileage and it doesnt cost more the premium and most diesel engines can run bio diesel which is lower then regular gas in most locations

but i would doubt it would be diesel because most scion people dont know enough about engines let alone try to get the to understand about glow plugs and the inner workings of a diesel lol

IMO for all intents and purposes the ccX became the tC, a lot they promoted and set to accomplish with it they did with the tC

 

So it seems so far its NOT a SUV, CUV, truck, or sedan, and gjpjr84 you dont seem to agree with the fact that it is a coupe, or at least you wouldnt call it a typical coupe, but i gather if they call it a coupe it does have 2 doors, right? Is it some kind of car that fills a niche that cant really be classified, like the xB1, it was to tall for a car, it was to low for a suv, and it seemed to short to be a wagon, it was a... xB. so can we expect that same "what is it" again? hopefully.

this is all ridiculous! all i know is. one of these "new releases" needs to havea motor that is more powerful and can be swapped into my tC easily!. cot dangitall with this guessing lol.

BTW its an Toyota El Camino. they got 2 doors and still car'ish. theres nothing else left for it to be. coupe with a cargo area thats still low to the ground. what the hell else is left? a Trike?! as u can see im a bit frustrated with the waiting. i mean cuz truthfully. all this guessing and we still wont be able to buy it. lol.
