Even though they're calling it a coupe concept I'm still wondering if it isn't going to be similar to the t2b Cargo/Fastback..or perhaps something close to the the Saab 9-X BioHybrid concept. The Hako has a larger grille opening and slightly lower headlights but the front looks similar to the Cargo...and if the circular cut-outs on the Hako are for fog lights then they would end well above where the wheel lugs would be...this could indicate some higher clearance in the front for a vehicle slanted for light utility

nope, still thinking in the wrong direction, though the t2b cargo is vagueley related in terms of mini-trucks and their possible coexistance with the new concepts roots.

 

The Hako has all the coolness of the Cargo and more. I'd rock either one.

 

they had the same headlight shape, but i think the Hako was cooler and more unique.

coupe is the thing that is throwing you all off on what it is. your thinking too modern.

 

Based on your "definition" of coupe, and you saying we're thinking too "modern", would a hardtop Plymouth Prowler-style vehicle be a good guess?

 

Here's the deal....
This is what I gather from reading everyone's "I can't say too much" posts:

1. The Fuse will be relied heavily upon for the next gen tC/replacement for the tC.

2. The Hako can & more than likely will be used for the 4th model and is very much a possibility to become an "xP" so to speak with a bit of tweaking.

I personally think what he's saying about it "not really being a coupe" but yet SCION calls it the Hako Coupe Concept is because it'll be a coupe with RX-8 rear doors or is this the type of coupe you're referring to:

.... that hako "coupe" better not be a wagon. Coupe implies 2 doors. You can't bastardize the word and make some thing else.

 

then i will say that they are not bastardizing the word coupe with the hako. in its concept form anyway.

For all of us who were wondering if the teaser pic was the front or back we could have just gone onto the scion website and it shows the headlights on, unless it has white brake lights lol.

 

there is no such thing as a 4 door coupe LOL. then it becomes a sedan.

 

noone ever said it had 4 doors, lol. only that yall are thinking wrong, and i wouldnt have gotten it from the coupe description

or when i said it wasnt the back of the car tuesday night, lol but honestly i never understood how yall thought it would have been the back, i dont get back when i saw that small crop. :?

 

Thats why i said all of us who "WERE" wondering, not for all of us who are wondering. I realize you already said it was the front, i was just posting some hard evidence.

BTW I believe TimmyT was saying what he said because of the post 4 post before when tC_Normo said "4 door coupe" Unless you were also refuring to tC_normo. lol
