Just my 2 cents worth. It seems to me Toyota and Scion are going in the wrong direction. My wife and I just attended the N.C. International Auto Show, and we spent most of our time in the Toyota and Scion display area. All of Toyota and Scion's new 08 and 09 models ( Highlander, Corolla, SUV's, xB, xD, ect.) are all bigger, heavier, more thirsty, and more expensive than their predesessors. At a time when the economy is in recession and gas is closing in on $4.00 a gallon is this really what people are in the market for? Toyota has so many cool and fuel efficient cars in their worldwide stable such as the Aygo and the new IQ, it just seems to me that if they brought them over as a Scion with some really cool color choices and attractive pricing, people would be lining up to buy one!!! Considering Scion's recent sales decline, it might be something to ponder!!!

Even then... wouldn't you rather just have a boosted RWD tC? Not this fugly thing.

Oh Deff.....even if they just converted the tC now to a RWD it would sell...they would have a assload of Used tCs traded in...
But i think the scion Community would rather have something sporty looking that is actually sporty to drive.

The body lines of the new xB and xD still offer for a range of ideas to be performed on each of them....This new concept can only go one way.....DOWNHILL...Scion has been giving us blank canvas' to put or own personal taste on their models....now they are giving us their ideas for our new models. I didnt like the new xB when it came out, until I saw it with the 5 Ax kit. I bought one...and hated driving it stock. I enjoy it now that i have put my style into it....not the style of someone else. Still the t2B concept is right there with the new g2xB and I liked the concept.....im not sure if i really like this at all and can only worry about what the production model will look like.

Default Things that make you go hmmm...

I don't know what to think. When I first saw the profile I thought I was looking at an old-school Lego vehicle come to life (and I mean that in a bad way). However, the 3/4 view isn't bad. I digress though, I would never buy a car that doesn't look kick ___ from every angle possible.

Of course, this is just a concept vehicle. If it becomes a production vehicle it will be toned WAY, WAY down. No offense though, I'm not really pleased with where Scion is heading. This stuff just reminds me of uglier versions of the PT Cruiser and HHR. Now Mazda has some kick ___ concept vehicles. Google that and be amazed. Too bad they'll never come out with anything even close to what they imagine.

On a positive note, I like the wrap around window in the back. I can't wait to see a car someday, concept or otherwise, with a completely glass wrap around. Even though it would be dangerous as hell.

The perfect scion line up:

Scion fuse, just leave the ext. alone fix the interior and put it in production,

Toyota bB, maybe the 3rd gen that should come out next year,

Toyota iQ

and if they insist on a fourth model, take the current xB and turn it into the t2b.

I'm sorry, but a mini-truck would be a total failure. I know a lot of people here would like one to modify, etc...but Scion doesn't care about the Scion community enough to create a car that will only appeal to 25,000 people in the world. There would be absolutely no demographic for a 4cyl, fwd, 1/8 ton 4ft bed truck.

Well if they said wether or not this car is put into production will be from consumer reaction, I guess we can forget about seeing the hako on the streets. I think it would be cool with some help here and there.

You hit the nail on the head nameless_ak.

Put Fuse into production for the racing fans.

Box up the front of the 2nd-Gen xB to make it look more like the t2B.

Resolve the steering issues with the 2nd-Gen bB in Japan and release it here.

And rock the iQ out as the smallest, most fuel efficient compact for the eco crowd.

None of this will happen though. Corporations never really listen to their customers, just some weird sample of people that claim to be into their brand.
