I just got my renewal and my insurance went up 4%. I called to ask why and they said because the rating associated with fixing the car went up. He said normally it happens within a year of the car coming out and with mine being a 2007 I contested that the car hasn't changed since 2005. So ____ing fustrating. I think insurance is a big scam.

BTW I have Geico.

 

With my 02 BMW 325xi, I pay about $180 a month........

My twin sister w/her 05 Scion tC pays about $140 a month.......

Insurance is also about males and females driving also......So that could affect our rates........
