Like I said, you know where the door is. This thread is about the 5.0, the future of Scion, and why they need to step up their game i.e. new competitors. Maybe if you took the time to pull your head out of your a.s.s you would see that. One would expect that since the majority of people are crying 'fail' at Scion for this RS, then maybe people would discuss why it's failing and the car companies that seem to be doing it right. But I guess I forgot where I'm at.

but i dont think hyundai is doing anything right for the most part...and ppl complaining about the RS5 its just the fact that ppl expect more out of a RS thats all...we dont really car about other cars....at least i dont...on this thread...if we did then we would post there....dont take it personal its just what it is....

 

On the contrary I find this to be quite entertaining. I don't think I was the first one to speak about Hyundai, I just chimed in with some facts to go along with the discussion. However, I don't want it ever to be perceived that I'm going to allow some jackass to think they are running the show, dictating what I can and cannot talk about on a public forum.

But like I said, this is fun for me. No hard feelings in my court.

dont get me wrong...they have come a long way...and they have been coming out with eye catching material but at the end of the day its a hyundai ....

 

You are saying the car will be bad quality, bad name etc etc cause its a Hyundai? I love my tc, but at the end of the day, its an economy coupe, a slow sports coupe, a SCION. Does that mean anything really? Not really.

The Genesis coupe has potential. LOTS. Its not even worth it to throw a turbo on our cars, why? FWD. Period point blank. If the tc were a RWD, it would be a tuners dream car, under $20k MSRP and RWD. You cant get any better than that. But alas, its not, the Genesis has a great engine from the start. 2.0 turbo or V6, and RWD. I dont care what company it is, its 2009. Companys know better than to make trash cars by now. Our cars dont even compare.

I actually think the rs5 looks really nice. It's not "flashy" but it has a nice list of upgrades and I think that's what sets it apart from the standard tc's.

It's not a letdown imo.

 

saw it at the auto show. didn't get me excited and I have a dropped tC in the household. that car was so scuffed from the wipedowns too. as I said before, the rims looked corny. are the red springs not a short as the white ones from TRD?

 

This RS5 sounds a lot like my RS1... but black instead of red. The interior even looks the same other than the steering wheel stitching.

Oh, and the front grille doesnt look as nice, and I'm not a fan of the red rim on black wheels.

 

So anyword on a release date? Because its end of March and still no rs 5.0 tC's on the lots
