I have a set of Depo H11 projectors I'm going to mod with a curved shield and sell soon, this would help with the crazy step cutoff with stock Depo headlights. Anyone interested? You would just bake open your headlights and install them, clear lens on the blinker is another easy mode while you have them open.

I wanted to ask, how bad is the light output on these when not modified? Better than 05-07 headlights? About the same? I kind of want them still but I don't want to deal with modding them.

They're not better, I had them. Projectors disperse light wider and because these have cheap halogen bowls, they don't direct the light downward as much as the OEM projectors do. Although giving a narrower beam, the 05-07 reflectors do a better job at putting light on the ground.

The Depo headlights out of the box are pretty bad in terms of the light output and spread, when properly modded they're much better. So if you buy them and don't intend on retrofitting it will be worse then 05'-07' reflector headlights. I have a set of modified Depo projectors posted HERE.

^ Yeah I have no intention of modding them. It's a tossup them. Either way I need to spend money on headlights. Just gotta decide if I want to buy 05-07s for the second time or shed the extra bucks for OEM projectors. I think they're like $400 and change from TRD sparks.

Revivng an old post but have a question. Found a cheap set up Eagle Eye projectors heads, no mods on them at all. I assume since they are OEM replicas they have the halogen projectors in them. On TRS website, they offer a complete "bolt and go" HID Porjector kit made for the 08-10 OEM headlights, and they say you simply unbolt the factory projector, bolt in this new one and can now run HID's with much better light output. Do you think this will apply the same way to the Eagle Eye headlights? Im also looking to eventually convert the high beam section to projectors as well, with bi-xenons all around for a quad projector bi-xenon setup.

There's a guy selling a set of 08+ headlights on the classifieds that have H1 bi-xenon projectors in the highbeams and stock low beams. Not to thread jack, but I know he's got a good deal on them. I was looking at them myself, but don't have the money right now. You could buy them, and use retrofitsource's pnp kit. I have their retro-quik system and it's GREAT! definitely worth the money. Just my .02cents

Blinker upgrade to remove the amber bulbs and the orange appearance in the headlights.
(4) DDM Amber 5630 7440 LEDs $10 each
(1) V-LEDS Blinker Relay $16
20 minutes to install, brighter and cooler looking!! Instant on/Off. I have modified Tails so amber all around for me. Worth the money!!
