I wouldn't recommend the retrofit system from TRS you're better off with the OEM headlights and run H IDs in the halogen projectors if you don't want to retrofit proper projectors so by the OEMs

Thanks for the reply! What's your opinion on retrofitting rx-afs projectors into Depo 08+ brackets with depo buckets? My main concern is about what you wrote in the original post:
"Internal bracket adjuster QC is very poor, it either adjusts freely or hasn't be pressed together right and can move slightly in and out causing the projector to shake over bumps."

Have you experienced any problems with the bracket? I'm wondering if the less expensive option of using Depo headlights is feasible for a retrofit. If not, I might have to suck it up and shell out 350 for new OEM 08+ headlights . My third option would be to find some decent used OEM's and somehow get Depo brackets from somewhere lol

Only had the adjuster screw problem twice and they replaced the whole headlight at no charge. It can be fixed with a nut and washer to retain it properly though.

I have a spare set of Depo brackets if your interested in buying the OEM headlights for the quality. Or the depo headlights are just fine for retrofitting OEM projectors.

FYI- I'm working on a OEM Halogen H11 projector upgrade kit or mod service for people who don't want to retrofit but do want better output from stock. This will upgrade the H11 OEM Halogens to Bi-Xenon, (Hi-Lo) Curved shields (Wider output) and "Black Series" (More Light) clear lens. I hope to have comparison pics soon of the H11's with halogens, HIDs, and then the complete mod. So no modding at all total PnP setup.
I am interested in buying your spare set of Depo brackets if you are still selling them! Going to send a PM.

Please move this if it's not the correct place but I didn't want to start a whe new thread just to post a link to step-by-step instructions on how to install aftermarket headlights on a 2005-2009 tC. Here it is: http://www.ehow.com/boards/how-to-in...n-tc-16809310/

I actually want to see too because some douche bag swipped the front end of my car and damaged my headlights and then drove off.

Thanks man. Do you think it's safe to run regular 35w HIDs in these Depo headlights since they are not exactly OEM?

Yes, they should be fine inside the depo projectors. Were you able to see the photo galleries?
