Default 08 tail lights

how do i get into them to paint them...do i bake or to i cut them...i was looking for i DIY but cant find n e help plz

i think the best way to take them apart is to do it with a heat gun... long process, but i think it might be better than putting them in the oven, or see what temp everyone puts their headlights in the oven for and how long then do the same but at a lower temp about 5-10 degrees lower... hope this helps a little...

I cut mine open with a dremel - They aren't bake-able like the headlights.

you have to cut tail lights open, the headlights can be baked open

the plastic is fused together. the open would melt the entire tail light before you'll be able to ever pull them apart if you heat gun or bake them...

cutting them open is what you have to do
